NaNoWriMo

So, at the behest of my writing friends over at Codex , I've signed myself up for NaNoWriMo. I'll be perfectly blunt, and say that I don't think I'll finish, given my other obligations. That said, however, I'm going to try like hell to finish anyway.

When the rest of you are all slaving away at novels.... you can take some small comfort in the fact that I will be too... =)

The username is "litsoup". (How original, I know.)

And now, if you'll excuse me, I have a client's manuscript that I must go back to reading. And then e-mail to answer.

Hee! Join the club - my name on Nano is Kyriel. I will look out for you. I haven't done it before either, but I can usually manage 2,000 words a day if I get up at 5.00 am. Yawns already.

Have fun! I won't be there. Way too much Real Life going on. Besides, I don't need any motivation to write. I need someone to tie my fingers together to make me stop.

I will be NaNo-ing as well. (Is that a word? Sounds like some planet from Star Wars or something.)

I won't be NaNoing this year--I'll be finishing up the manuscript you know all about. :) But I've put you on my buddy list for next year. Good luck and have fun!

LOL! Good luck to you! I'm not nano'ing this year... but I'll be watching the fun.

Hooray! I'm on NaNo, but I'm cheating and can't win. :-( I'm working on a novel that needs at least 50K more words and I can't stop to write a different one. Still, I am going to have fun doing it!

I am also using an original and most creative user name: swvaughn. Good Lord, if I made a new user name for everything I signed up for, I'd never remember how to get back into anything!

Good luck, Jenny! (Do you have novel details posted on your profile? I am totally intrigued!)

Why is it when I see "NaNoWriMo," I think, "Nah, I don't write no more" ???

Jenny Rappaport said...

Nope, no novel details on my profile. It's science fantasy and will probably end up being YA. Other than that, I shall say nothing more. =)

I'm on NaNo too. I've written novels, but never in a month. I'm up for the challenge though. Plus, it'll give me some time away from my one novel, so I can edit it with fresh eyes.

I'm another on nano - HalSpacejock is the username there.

Oooooh! I could never write YA, but I love to read it. :-) I shall be first in line when it's published.

WElcome to the madness. :) I'm Dragonchilde on the forums, not that I really think you'll look me up. I'm already 10k in, though, so I've got a rollicking good start. I might actually beat my record of 14 days if I keep writing at this pace!

Good luck to you!

Good luck, Jenny .... enjoy the ride. Whether or not you finish, it's anything but dull.
