Searching for Pleasure

I have just called up three different bookstores in my area, desperately searching for a copy of PLEASURE FOR PLEASURE by Eloisa James, which is due to be released tomorrow. One bookstore out of the three has it--eight copies of the book, to be precise. And they cannot find where they have put them!

I think my frustration is beyond words at this point.

Urgh, isn't that just awful?

A couple weeks ago Jeff thought he saw something saying Stargate: Atlantis season 2 would be out tomorrow. (I know, we're such geeks.) But I called Barns and Noble today and it's not even on their computer. Sigh! I know how you feel. Sort of. Okay, not really, but kind of.

Darn stores. Give us our books and DVDs! *shakes fist*

Is it out tomorrow?

*quivers with delight*

I've been waiting for this one ever since she wrote about the Earl of Mayne.

However, Amazon has it listed as December 1st (which I thought was odd, considering that most books are released on Tuesdays). I might have to make an early excursion to Borders, darn it!

PS -- The new Marjorie Liu is out as well, and if you have not read her yet, she is absolutely faboo.

Betcha they filed Pleasure for Pleasure under erotica or sex advice or some such, based purely on the title.

David, sadly, that's a possibility. The title, however, is a play on words of the Shakespeare play, "Measure for Measure". It's the last book in the "Sisters" series that the author is writing... the prior three were:

MUCH ADO ABOUT YOU (Much Ado About Nothing)
KISS ME ANNABEL (Kiss Me Kate--the Shakespeare-based musical)
THE TAMING OF THE DUKE (The Taming of the Shrew)

The prior comment was me... it wasn't showing my name at first. =)
