Line Dancing Vampires

I'm back from the Nebs--I'm dead tired. And you know you're really tired when you start to enjoy watching the Eurovision music video contest...

Click here. Click on the Mediacentre link. Watch Switzerland.

Oy.

I also endorse Israel's highly bizarre performance, which seems to involve blowing things up. And yes, the Swedish main singer is wearing sparkles glued to his chest. Sparkles, people.

OMG- I will love you forever for posting this. Eurovision is so awesomely bad, and we can't get it where I live.

I'm not sure that I want to know what was going on with the horse's head in Switzerland's video.

Ah yes, DJ Bobo. I must admit I'm not a big fan of the guy's music but his videos are often fun.

My daughter (12) and I watched it the other night. It was a late night, popcorn munching, loud laughing show. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and voted for the losers. I liked Ireland, my daughter liked England. We liked the winner though - lovely voice. And thought the whole thing was delightfully over the top. We especially loved the show with Apocalyptica and the circus performers.
Ah...Eurovision. Thank goodness it's not on every week!

Er, it's a kind of necklace, not sparkles glued to his chest. :-) (About the Swedish main singer.)
