Dead Sexy

We're doing some office upgrading around here, in preparation for an intern, including getting me a new computer. Which Chris and I are building because ya know, we're geeks like that. =)

And this is the dead sexy case I'm getting for my computer...

*drools*

I'm more impressed by the clear cases. When lighted fans are installed, they can be quite attractive.

My problem with the clear cases, and for most of the other ones out on the market right now, are that they all look like they're designed for teenage boys with bad decorating taste.

Yeah, I'd like a gaming machine, but that doesn't mean it needs to be in an ugly color. =)

This case I love because not only does it have the cooling features I want, but it's slick and sleek and a gorgeous shade of light blue. If I'm buying something for a long time (and trust me, I've had my current desktop for almost seven years), I want it to be something I'm happy to look at it everyday. =)

My current case is purple, if you're interested in knowing that.

Although, Patrick, I will say that the clear cases hold a certain appeal to me, if I could put in a water cooling system with floating plastic fish in it... they actually do sell an "aquarium" case, but it was out of stock, alas.

Dude. I would have jumped for the aquarium case. That'd be cool!

Overall, I think the case looks nice (though I'm biased towards mac). I like the shade of blue! I'm not normally a big fan of blue, but that shade is nice!

One question, though . . . the description says it's aerodynamic. Why does a computer need to be aerodynamic? That just struck me as funny.

I'm probably one of the few who doesn't care what my computer looks like, as long as it's functional.

OK, it's pretty but it's only drool-worthy because most PCs are so damn ugly.

I love any case that isn't that eggshell white color. Mine is black. But I agree with resurrectedwarrior. I totally would have loved the aquarium.
