Happy Birthday Zoe!

Well, we're back from our honeymoon. =)

Tired, so all the detailed posts will come later on this week.

But first, the much more important news!

On August 30, 2007, Miss Zoe Kitten Rappaport turns one year old! Happy Birthday! The picture is one her foster mom sent us, when we were looking to adopt her last year. She's about two months old in it, and SO tiny! =)

(PS. We think she grew when we were away; she looks bigger!)

Kittens aren't kittens for very long, are they?

But hey, there's good news: cats grow up even faster than kids, so when you guys decide to take the NEXT plunge...the contrast will be beneficial. ;)

Anyway, hope you guys had a good time!

I know you had a beautiful wedding and a fabulous honeymoon. Congrats again!

And, Happy 1st Birthday, Zoe!

We have a new addition to my family. We already have one cat, Jasmine, who is 7 years old. She is a short-haired calico and is the QUEEN. Well 3 weeks ago, another kitty showed up at our door. She was terrified, and looked as if she were lost. But she was very friendly and wanted desperately to come inside, which I allowed right away. I told my children not to get attached to her because she probably belonged to someone. She is solid gray with beautiful yellow eyes. We hung "Missing Kitty" signs and received no response. So, after a week, I took her to the vet for a check-up. He said she looks to be around 4 months old. My boys named her Isabelle, but they call her Izzie-boo most of the time. She is a sweet addition to our family, but it breaks my heart that someone apparently just dropped her off at our doorstep. But, now we have a Queen and a Princess.

Happy Birthday again, Zoe!

Zoe is so cute!

Our little Caitlin has just turned six months old, so it was off to the vet's for her op. She has a lovely belly scar :).

Oh, the baby! They grow up way too quickly. And there's something about kittens. I have four cats, and I have to stop myself from taking in more kittens.

Zoe's a cutie!

No, actually her middle name is officially "Kitten". =)

So she'll always be Zoe Kitten Rappaport, and therefore, we're justified in still referring to her as "kitten". =)

My Ridley is a solid grey longhair. Handsome fellow. He grew a few inches while we were on vacation, too. Suddenly he was a cat.
