Addenduum to the first fire post

Dose anyone have a map that lists what's happening in LA county, similar to how this one in San Diego county does?

Spencer, our faithful employee, is looking for info about his parents who are in Valencia.

I live in LA County and have been following the fire coverage as much as I can. I haven't, however, seen a fire map.

I do know there are fires out around Valencia. In fact, I heard today that Magic Mountain was in danger from fires.

There are fires burning out in Stevenson Ranch, Castaic, Canyon Country, all around that area.

If I come upon a map, I'll post a link here.

I live in Los Angeles County, though thankfully, not near any of the fire locations.

I hear that Magic Mountain, which is in Valencia, is in some danger, but haven't heard an update recently.

I don't know if it'll help, but here's a link that shows fire locations:

Hope that helps.

All I can say is take care of yourselves, people. How awful. Don't risk your lives over the house, please!

You're in our thoughts and prayers.

San Diego has it much, much worse.

Here's the LA Times map: http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-firemap,0,6179739.htmlpage?coll=la-home-center
I'm in LA county (Studio City) and the only fires here are Malibu (15% contained, 500 homes evacuated), Magic/Stevenson Ranch (80% contained, limited evacuations), Agua Dolce/Santa Clarita (27% contained, 5,500 homes evacuated), and the 14 freeway near Acton, which is threatening homes in Cedar Croft and Brian Glen.

The Magic fire looks like the closest to Valencia, and its also one of the most under control.

The Buckweed (Agua Dolce) fire is also in that neighborhood, and reports are 3 injured and 15 homes destroyed.

I'll keep Spencer and his parents in my thoughts!

Thank you! My brother lives in Chula Vista and I had no idea how close the fire might be to him. we last heard from him on Monday. This map has really set my mind at ease. My prayers go to all those affected.

Go to www.my.yahoo.com. They have great satelite photos showing all the counties.

I had a few dealings with Spencer this past summer; He's a great, talented guy with insight and a refreshing sense of good taste when it comes to words. I truly can't say enough positive things about this guy. And I hope everything is okay and his family is safe and well. Please keep us posted, Jenny.
