Random House rumblings

There's been small rumblings emanating from Random House, on and off, that they were going to change up the head management people, due to some profit loss. And now they are.

I have no analysis about this, at the moment, but I'm interested to see what the eventual fallout will be. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the divisions I deal with aren't grossly affected by job loss and/or decreased output of books, etc. Publishing is a business, after all, and there's a bottom line.

Interesting. It seems like a publishing houses, especially the big ones, are being shaken up. Reminds me of the Galley Cat article recently about how publishing houses will crumble under the weight of POD from Amazon...
