Inside my day

Sometimes people wonder what agents do all day, so I figured that it might be mildly interesting to share what I'm doing today.

Basically, in a vague order: answering e-mails, reading three partials, finishing reviewing a contract, mailing off contract, and mailing books to my Polish agent. Then, I have plans to meet up with a fellow agent for a late lunch/gab session, and then go to the KGB reading.

Thrilling, I know. =)

You attended a writing conference in Richmond, VA last year and I learned my book about having too many cats probably wasn't right for your agency because you're doing fantasy or horror, something like that, but there's a lot of cat on this blog! Sure you wouldn't want to see my proposal? rmjournal@mindspring.com

What, no six-figure auction in your day? I'm sooo disallusioned.

Dis*i*llusioned. Sheesh. So much for my vaunted writing skills....

You know, there's an old poem I read in college (can't remember the name of it), that's about the times when nothing too happy or too sad is happening in our lives. And I've come to really love those days the most.
