Tell me something good

....or tell me something happy... or tell me something that just makes your day brighter.

I am having one of those days that I won't blog about because it will drag the entire world down into an abyss of blah. =) So instead, I will tell you what makes me happy, and you can tell me what makes you happy. Sound good? Sounds good to me. (Notice how I'm doing both parts of the conversation here... =)

What Makes Me Happy: I have half a bottle of ice-cold milk tea and an air conditioner. This is tantamount to bliss right now.

What makes you happy? What's something good or day-brightening? Comments will be unmoderated periodically, although I may not reply to all--I'm still reading though.

Dancing! Especially when I'm with friends and we're just being silly and the music is great.

After being severely underemployed for over a year, I started my new job on Monday :-)

Oh, and I get to come home every day to the world's cutest puppy: http://sarahnfisk.blogspot.com/2010/04/pics-ucf-book-festival-and-puppy-eyes.html

Glee. Do you watch it? If not, you must. This week's episode was sheer fun, and the Madonnna one recently was as well.

Cupcakes make my day brighter. At least while I'm eating them. Afterward, when I'm over them, they just go all psycho, stalker girlfriend and cling to my hips.

In the past year there have been some great new review sites popping up for romance authors. I know that's business. But it's a good thing.

I have a pet rabbit who is house trained so he just hops around the house. This weekend he jumped up on the couch next to me and gave me bunny kisses (licks on my arm and calf). That always makes me so happy! He warms my heart.

This recipe, for a dessert I never knew existing, totally made my day earlier in the week. It's chocolate, and the serving suggestion is "top with vanilla ice cream". What's not to love about that?

Chortling babies. Baby animals. Animals playing.

Today this is the most difficult request in the world. I need a little bit of happiness in my life right now.

Katt, this is milk tea, which is sold practically everywhere in plastic bottles and cans from vending machines. You can get it iced or hot, although I tend to prefer iced. There's also a variant called Royal Milk Tea, which is even sweeter, but I like just plain milk tea. Lipton and Kirin are currently my favorite brands, but I'm still experimenting. =)

Also, I've got another happiness!

Watching my pregnant friend's belly grow month by month and getting to tease her and laugh about it. =) I'm just sad I won't be here when the baby is born.

Laying on the trampoline while my kids jump and then they get tired and pile on me in a big hug fest. So sweet. I've forbidden them to grow up any more.

Puppies-particularly mine, especially when they're sleeping because it means they're not getting in trouble or chewing up my stuff :)

It makes me happy to write stories for my class! It's really fun and I can usually express myself through it! (:

Right now I'm happy because a woman I only know because I read her blog finally got a baby (after lots of IVF troubles and one stillbirth)
